Thom Olson

Thom is an art director/graphic artist with over 25 years of experience working in a variety of capacities. He is heavily experienced in book/magazine publishing, branding, packaging design, tradeshow graphics, digital media and video editing. His work has included brands: McDonalds, Revlon, Kraft, Wrigley, M&M Mars. His publishing work includes Prentice Hall, Laurence King (UK), Fairchild Publications, Halfstack, Reuters and Institute of Real Estate Management as clients.
Thom holds his MFA in Fashion Design from the Academy of Arts University in San Francisco and received international scholarships from Milan and Canada. He has been working on writing a textbook for the apparel industry and has illustrated 4 college textbooks with 4000+ illustrations. He also started a second master’s in UX at Kent State University. His software expertise includes Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, AfterEffects, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Director, Slack, Microsoft Office, Figma, and Gerber Accumark (CAD). He has taught the Creative Suite and Accurmark in universities for 8 years.
