Kel Barlow
Hi, my name’s Kel. I got my bachelor’s degree in film, but life unexpectedly took me in the direction of working as an Administrative Assistant almost eight years ago. I’ve worked for the Texas Secretary of State, where I processed business filings, reviewed records for accuracy, communicated with customers, and worked within internal teams to provide support and ensure efficiency. I’ve also done data entry, archives, spreadsheet maintenance, and other administrative tasks for the Texas Workforce Commission.
Once the Coronapocalypse hit, I started a new chapter working as a Certified Covid-19 Compliance Officer (CCO) on film sets. A CCO is a position that is responsible for enforcing Covid-19 safety protocols, and thus preventing the spread of Covid-19 on film sets. Film crews, as well as my Exec Wranglers clients, often point out that I have great attention to detail and follow-through, in addition to handling matters in a way that is caring and compassionate.
Additionally, multi-tasking is one of my strengths – I’m able to coordinate multiple tasks and projects at the same time. I’m very personable and always open to new ideas and ways of doing things – adjusting my workflow to accommodate the needs of the people I’m working with. I enjoy using my experience as an administrative assistant and my video editing skills to help make clients’ lives easier through Exec Wranglers. My areas of expertise are video editing and data entry. I also enjoy going to the park with my two dogs, cooking delicious vegetarian meals, playing video games, and woodwork/carpentry. I was born Deaf, and I grew up in a blended Deaf and hearing family, so signing and speaking at the same time comes naturally to me. Finally, I am a volunteer with Final Frontier Rescue Project, and my focus is on marketing their dogs for adoption. Anyone looking to add a four legged member to their family?
